Make it Clay workshop

I helped deliver a very successful 2 hour clay workshop last Sunday at the New Ash Green Arts Community meeting. Chris Goss expertly demonstrated the process of making boxes from two pinch pots whilst I supported the attendees as they followed instructions. We were so pleased with the results, 16 boxes were completed and decorated, quite a feat as many people had never worked with clay before. Though we were totally exhausted afterwards we both agreed it had been a very enjoyable afternoon. I will never again underestimate the effort required to prepare and clear up afterwards. Clay is a messy art!!!
